Playing together

In case you were wondering....here's what the boys were doing while I scrapbooked. They were playing together with the Imaginext toys. These toys have been put away for awhile too (kinda like the train....lots of pieces...), so they were happy to see this long-lost toy.

Raggedy Ann dress

Here's Makenna is a dress that used to be mine when I was a baby. My mom told me that my Aunt Evola gave it to me. I used to use it all the time to dress up my dolls with every intention of keeping it until I was all grown up to put on my little girl. Twenty plus years later....my dream came true.

Scrapbooked

I've been wanting to scrapbook for awhile, but finding time is pretty difficult now. I started at midnight, and finished this afternoon. This isn't a typical "Marshan" page, but
I wanted to try some new stuff. It was fun. Notice the page is a dark pink...is that bad?? Luckily, Jakeb is the only kid who likes pink, so I figured I could get away with it. Unfortunately, when I showed him the page, he told me that he doesn't like pink anymore. Oh well... Here's the actual pages above, and below is some close-ups.
Even Jakeb liked it. I caught him staring at it later.

The Train is BACK!

We pulled the train out again. The boys have been LOVING it! They've been playing almost non-stop with it for two days. TV hasn't been watched nearly as much, and they worked together to make one of the tracks. Even Daddy enjoys the train. I love watching them enjoy something this much!

Sharing

Look, the boys were sharing with Makenna! See the stickers? Not too sure what she thought of it, but it sure was cute. I think they are just trying to introduce Dora to her a little early!

Luke's secret

Luke has a secret, but I'm not allowed to tell. However, if he tries to tell you that he doesn't like his sister....well, don't believe it. This picture proves otherwise, and it lets the cat out of the bag. But, hey....I didn't say a word!

Makenna's first play date

This was Makenna's first "real" playdate with someone her age! Yay!! Ana came over today. Remember her from....HERE? She's getting so big, and now Makenna's here to play too. Of course, Makenna decided to cry the entire time she was to be enjoying her playdate, but that was okay. Kaleb and Jakeb had a great time with Ana! (Blake and Luke were hiding out downstairs.) Grandma

Grandma, or more affectionately called "Baba," came over today. Let the good times roll.

Date night w/ Jake

I had a date night with Jake tonight, well it was actually Tuesday night, but I'm posting this after midnight. We both had such a good time. We went to Build-a-bear to get his bear fixed...just a little outpatient surgery for the "FRED." Then off to ToysRUS to look for Planet Heroes. We found the two that he wanted. He bought them with his left over birthday money. Then it was off to McDonald's for some ice cream!

And last but not least, we decided at the last minute to go watch Shrek the Third. Actually, it's along story, and I ended up taking Jakeb along to watch it with me and Betsy, my friend. He kept saying that it was scary. He said that it was scarier than Spiderman 3. Give me a break.
