Perspective

Oh my word... Can you believe Gas Prices???? Of course, we should really put this in to perspective. WHile we worry over gas prices, there are those down in the south who would love to worry about gas. They are worrying about the loss of their homes and loved ones. WHo would have thought that one hurricane Katrina could have ripped up LA and MI up so badly.


Okay, now a note of encouragement....Blake was very upset tonight because his night light wasn't working. WHile I was looking for a bulb, I sent him to his room where he was saying in a very scared voice..."I'm scared...." Then Luke said something like this....."Blake, you should talk to God, pray to God, He'll help you when you're scared." What is sad, is that if a three year old can remember that, then I, a 27 year old, should remember it.

luke's 4-wheeler

Man, that kid loves his fourwheeler. I'm so glad we didn't throw it out like we kept talking about doing. I kept telling Eric, just wait until next summer.....maybe they'll like playing on it then. WEll, they do. Jake's still not too impressed unless Luke is driving, but Luke and Blake enjoyit a lot. Luke absolutely loves it. Even when he's going on the side of the hill in the yard, and the whole four wheeler flips over on him (because he's a 57 pound three year old), he gets back on and zooms around the yard.

Another thing that zooms around the yard is Mrs. Dean's dog and Jakeb. He likes that dog so much. SHoot, he likes almost any dog. The kid has no fear. He'll play with any dog, regardless of size.
