Klaire's 12 day old portraits

I took Klaire to Portrait Innovations yesterday to get her portrait done for the wall in the dining room...and well....as always, I left with a few more than I should have. Cute, huh?

pics of the girls

My sister-in-law, Stacy, gave me the outfit that Makenna is wearing for Klaire, but since it fit Makenna, and I had an adorable outfit that Niki had given Makenna way back when she was small....I thought it would be cool for them to match. They'll be sharing clothes anyways for their whole lives, so why not start them early on it? Right?? So Klaire had Makenna's outfit on, and Makenna had Klaire's outfit on,, and they both looked dog-gone cute!

They've done it again....

Portrait Innovations has taken some stinkin' cute pictures of my kids again. Of course, it totally helps to have some of the cutest kids in the whole wide world. (Note: I said "some" only because I didn't want to hear anyone disagree with me about their kid being cuter. Ha!) The kids did great today too getting their picture done, even Makenna. She was posing and everything.

18 month pictures

...a little late. If you're on facebook, then you've probably already seen them, and they're actually 19 month pictures, but don't tell Makenna. Her brothers all got them at 18 months nd they got them professionally done. Poor Makenna got neither. My thoughts are....hey, at least she got some! I was about to forget them all together. So, we dressed her up as a fairy for one set, and then her flower girl dress for the other. I didn't get any of her in her dress at the wedding. (Now, nobody better make fun of her bangs either. She decided to move right as I was cutting them, so they're a little short. Oh well, such is life.) I thought they turned out pretty cute.

And I leave you with this one to make you smile.

Makenna's 1 yr. pics

I know, I know, she already had her pictures taken as the biker babe, but......well, I wanted a couple of sweet ones too. Plus, I forgot to get her picture taken in the brown dress from our family picture. Anyways, they all turned out great. (however, for some reason they scanned a little funny, especially the white ones. They look even better in person.)
This is the ring that my sister-in-law bought her for Christmas.

Guessing Game - just for fun

Okay, so can you tell who's who???
A. Here's all the kids at 1 year old...well, except for Luke who was 10 months because the jacket barely fit then, an would never had made it to one. I think these are the easiest because they all developed their own look by one. B. Here's the kids six months. This one's a little more difficult.
C. And here's the boys...no Makenna.... at 4 months.

Post a comment or shoot me an email if you want. I'll eventually post the right answers some time next week.

Family Portraits

We got our family pictures taken today at Portraits Innovations. It wasn't a particularly great experience since we had to wait about 45 minutes past our appointment time, and then another 20 minutes past our pick-up time. Then some of the pictures were blurry, and I still think some of the pictures are a little dark, but oh well. Besides that, we got some good pictures, plus I love the brown and blue for everyone! (I forgot to get Makenna's picture in the brown dress, so I guess that means I'll have to go back!...just kidding!)PS. For every child's first birthday picture, we've always done the "biker dude" thing. This year we did the "Biker Girl." Oh my word, and when they pulled out the motorcycle to go along with it.....well, I'm sure you can imagine my excitement.

4 boys and a little girl

Awhile ago, at JC Penney's, I saw this great idea for a picture. They had all the kids standing behind the little girl in jeans. It was absolutely adorable. I decided that I would try it. I wish I would have done it about 2 or 3 months ago when she wasn't mobile, but it was fun to try. They didn't come out as great as I wanted, but well, they were still cute. Afterwards, I decided to take individual pictures of all the kids.
