water day

We went to the colored park today. It was kind of spur of the moment decision. The kids had fun, and three out of the five enjoyed the water part of the park. (That's a record.) Makenna really like it. Oh, and check out Kaleb's new hat. He's been wearing it for a couple of days now. Then after dinner we blew up the pool that Kent and Richi bought for the children's birthdays. I was skeptical about the whole pool thing. I just didn't think that they would like it, but boy, was I WRONG.They loved it, all of them. They were jumping in the pool, pretend swimming in the pool, riding the slide upside in the pool. And Makenna loved the pool too. We put a little slide in her pool, and she kept wanting to go down it.
Then Eric made his own slip-n-slide, a plastic tarp that he bought to cover the fireworks if it rained. Then he added his own water from the hose. I was half hoping that he would do it too, so I could get that on film, and then of course, that would make me have to do it too, plus we haven't had a crazy Alma doing in quite some time...Check out the video.
