Not cool!!

So guess where I spend Saturday night through Monday morning. You'll never guess. I'll just start at the beginning and tell the entire story.

So I guess it started a little earlier than Saturday morning as in earlier in the week, but I'll just start with Saturday. Early Saturday morning, after feeding Makenna, I crawled back into bed shivering. Yes, I said shivering. I ended up waking up Eric because I was shivering so badly. Eventually the cold shivering stopped and I drifted off to sleep only to be awakened by a hungry child again. After her second feeding, I crawled back into bed again only this time I just felt yucky and hot. Turns out I had a temperature. Eric was concerned and made me call the doctor. He said that it didn't sound too serious, and said that he would call in an antibiotic for me. The rest of the day I felt yucky, but not horrible. Of course, the Ibuprofen that I had been taking had definitely helped me feel better. We actually went out to eat for lunch and then off to Costco for the beloved diaper run. By the time I got home, I wasn't feeling too hot again, so I went to feed Makenna yet again (Man, she eats a lot, doesn't she?) and then I was going to take a nap....only problem was I was cold again....very, very cold. Eric helped cover me up, and then I got uncomfortable again. We took my temperature and to our shock it said 103!!! Then a different time it said 104!!!

Eric called the doctor and told me that I needed to go to the ER!!!! I was so upset. I didn't want to leave my kids, but thankfully, Eric's mom had just arrived. So, she watched them for us.

We get to the ER......do the registration....and all the wonderful paperwork.....They took my temp there and it was a whopping 105.2!!!!! They ended up doing a lot of blood work, and some tests to find out what was wrong. I was so glad to have my mom and Eric there with me. I was pretty uncomfortable and they did their best to help me.

Come to find out, I most likely had something called Endometritis, and I had to stay in the hospital until this morning!!! ARGHHHHH!! It was my first time being in the hospital un-baby related! I was not impressed.
