This morning we went to Serenity Baptist Church on Cox Road for their annual Easter Egg hunt. They hide over 5,000 eggs...(or should I say they scatter them in the lawn). We've gone for the past 3 years. The kids love it, and they love winning the door prizes. This year all of our kids won at least one door prize. Then they go and got the eggs that were filled with candy, and then had a picnic lunch. Of course, we didn't do the normal outside picnic today since it was like 30 degrees outside!!!! (Last year, I distinctly remember it being nice enough outside to wear shorts! The chocolate actually melted in the Easter eggs last year.) Anyways, usually I forget to take pictures, but this year I remembered. (Blake went with the 6-8 year old kids...that's why his pictures is inside.)

Then tonight we dyed Easter Eggs. This was the first year that the older boys didn't need constant help. I bought all four boys one dozen eggs each to do. Eric and I helped the younger boys do theirs, and the older boys thought they were so "big" doing their own. Then, of course, we had to eat at least one maybe even two eggs.
