Well, it's happened. I can't believe that we finally did it. I mean, seriously, how hard was it to remember?? Usually when I forget, luckily Eric remembers and vice versa, but this time we both forgot. Last time we actually both remembered, so that was really good.Well you should have seen the Blake's face when he came to my side of the bed this morning. He tapped my shoulder and just stood there looking at me with this very sorrowful look in his eyes. He was holding in his hands the envelope that was addressed to the tooth fairy that contained the tooth that he had lost the night before. She had forgotten to come and exchange it for some money. He just couldn't believe it.
I tried to convince him that maybe she took the night off or was on vacation. He was convinced that because he had his head sleeping on his hand which was resting on his pillow, there was just no way that she couldn't have pulled the envelope out. He was so dissapointed.
So I told him that he should simply just put it under his pillow again tonight, and I'm sure that she would make it up to him somehow.
updated: When we went out this afternoon, the tooth fairy stopped by our house and switched Blake a dollar for his tooth. He was pretty excited about that!!
