Kaleb's 1st and 2nd haircut

So we went today to Cookie Cutters to get Kaleb's first haircut. It's a cute little hair salon just for kids. The kids get to sit in these really cool chairs that are either cars or airplanes. They also get to watch movies or play video games while they are getting their hair cut. How cool would that be? Of course, you are definitely paying premium for all this, but it's almost worth it to not have to hear the kid yell, scream, or cry. when scissors or trimmers are held close to their head.

Anyway, it was time for Kaleb to get his hair cut. He has this little puff of hair toward the top back, and then it was getting pretty long around the ears. Eric had been after me for awhile to get his hair cut, and when I got coupons in the mail, I made the appointment. So we went in for the haircut. Now while Kaleb did not enjoy the haircut, the movie kept him calm. I kept snapping pictures. (The first one is the before, and the rest are afters.)





After his haircut we went to Chick-fil-a when I noticed that he still had all of his curls almost on the top of his head. Now while the curls are cute, I could not pay $15 for a haircut and not get those curls cut off. It was like he only got his hair trimmed around the ears, so off we went back to Cookie Cutters where I went in and requested them to cut off those curls, so my husband wouldn't say that I wasted $15 on a haircut that I could have done myself. So Kaleb got his first and second haircut today. (Once again, the first one is his before, and the second one is is after.)
