MORE.........

Most of you know that my dad was deaf, and while I definitely am not fluent in sign language by any means meaning that I'm not an interpreter, I do know sign language pretty well. Of course, I haven't really used it since he passed away unless I happen to run into someone that I know that's deaf. So, I've been equally bad when it comes to teaching my children sign language. However, I've taught all the kids when they were babies to say the two words of "more" and "please." They've each had different ways of doing it, but it's unmistakeably those words. Here's Makenna saying "more." She uses this very OFTEN. Sometimes she uses it just when she wants you to watch her do something again and again, as she was doing here in this picture. Man, when those little fingers go together like that, well...I just LOVE it!

(oh, and by the way...I'm hoping to teach the boys some sign language this year in school. Blake actually is taking a class in co-op this year too.)
